Join us for a class celebrating vibrant summer foods that bring people together, featuring recipes from Anna Voloshyna's cookbook, BUDMO! Recipes from a Ukrainian Kitchen. In Ukrainian, "budmo" means "let us be," and more broadly, it signifies happiness, togetherness, and enjoying the moment. Like the English "cheers," it's a toast made before drinking a chilled shot of vodka.
Anna will show you how to make delicious khachapuri from scratch, starting with a versatile yeasted dough and finishing with a rich, buttery cheese topping. You'll learn to perfect Adjarian khachapuri, with all the tips and tricks for shaping them beautifully.
We'll also prepare cold Ukrainian Borsch and colorful appetizers, including Anna's signature Pickled Tomatoes and eggplant rolls.
